Eunbin Ha is a Ph.D. student in the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University. Her research examines people’s interactions with emerging technologies, and especially the broad spectrum of societal/ethical issues relevant to these technologies. Through quantitative and computational methods, she seeks to understand how emerging information and communication technologies shape the way of human communication and information processing, providing the foundation for answering questions of trust and bias. Her recent work is particularly focused on how AI-based algorithms affect the ways people communicate and inform themselves and how people make sense of algorithmic decision-making led by AI technologies. To study new forms of human-AI interactions, she takes a human-centered approach.
